No two weeks are the same for students enrolled in the Certificate of Adventure Tourism and Guiding. The diverse wilderness areas of the Top of the South (and sometimes beyond) are your classroom. NMIT is located a short distance from three awesome National Parks (Kahurangi, Abel Tasman, and Nelson Lakes). While there are a number of classes on campus, you will also often be out and about rafting, kayaking, hiking/tramping/bushwalking, snowboarding or skiing, rock climbing and canyoning.
