The purpose of this qualification is to provide the travel industry with individuals who can professionally support customers with travel enquiries, information and booking requirements, and through their skills and knowledge increase the contribution of the travel industry to the New Zealand economy.
Graduates will be able to deliver, and assist in supporting the delivery of, travel products across a range of organisations in the travel industry creating a quality customer experience. Their applied skills and knowledge will involve working under broad guidance, and they may also have some responsibility for the performance of others.
