The Diploma in Science and Technology is a flexible programme that allows you to undertake a shorter course of study at university level than that required by a three year bachelor’s degree. You may elect to have courses passed under the diploma programme credited to a bachelor’s degree, provided the courses comply with the regulations of the degree in question. The Diploma is equivalent to one year of full-time study, but it will often be taken on a part-time basis. The course is open to anyone who has gained admission to Massey University, but in some cases specific courses may require a subject background at level 3 NCEA.
