Académie Linguistique Internationale (ALI) was opened in 1993, and since then, it has been teaching English and French to students from all over the world. The school is located in the heart of downtown Montreal, Canada.
The provider focuses on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills with a solid grammatical base. Providing teaching methodology and special tools, ALI strives to develop academic and practical skills in real-life situations. The staff consists of all native English speakers. Furthermore, they all have English teaching certification, and over 50% of them have college degrees. ALI operates Cambridge Exam Centre, IELTS Test Centre, and TOEFL Test Centre that help prepare for exams. Twenty-four modern classrooms are available for students and encompass various up-to-date facilities, such as a TV room, eating area, free Internet, wireless Internet, computers, studying area, audio learning, modern computer lab, and sports activities. The capacity of the schools is 350 students, and the minimum age of admission: 17 years. In the summer season, the average age of students is 23. Accommodation is available as homestays not far from the school. Families usually offer affordable meal plans and help to learn more about the local culture.
Académie Linguistique Internationale has a vast network with partners; thus, partnerships with a significant number of universities and colleges in Canada can help students gain acceptance into one of them.
