Healthcare Diploma programmes
AGI’s Healthcare programmes are tailored to meet the changing needs of the local healthcare industry, holding an extraordinary employment rate of 90% of the graduates. AGI is the only independent tuition that provides Healthcare programmes at levels 5, 6 and 7, progressing from entry-level learning, through to advanced courses.
The Healthcare Diploma programmes include Healthcare, Aging and Disability Services (level 5, with 300 hours of Clinical Placement); Mental Health and Addiction (level 6, with 300 hours of Clinical Placement); and Health Services Management (level 7, with 150 hours of Clinical Placement). All these programmes are available at AGI's Auckland City campus. Healthcare, Aging and Disability Services Diploma (level 5) is also available at AGI’s East Tamaki (South Auckland) and New Plymouth new campuses.
Healthcare career objectives
Students who want to play roles such as Family Support Worker, Community Health Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Mental Healthcare Support Worker, Disability Services Worker – can gain the relevant skills by graduating the Diploma programme in Aging and Disability Services (level 5).
Students who want to play roles such as Caseworker, Alcohol / Drugs / Gambling Addiction Counsellor, Care Coordinator / Navigator, Programme Facilitator - can gain the relevant skills by graduating the Diploma programme in Mental Health and Addiction (level 6).
Students who want to play roles such as Community Healthcare Centre Manager, Chiropractic Practice Manager, Health & Welfare Services Manager, Health Care Facilities Supervisor, Health Promotion Officer, Medical Records Administrator, Day Services Manager, Health / Medical Practice Manager, Health Information Manager, Primary Health Organisation Manager, Physiotherapy Practice Manager - can gain the relevant skills by graduating the Diploma programme in Health Services Management (level 7).
Information Technology Diploma programmes
AGI’s Information Technology Diploma programmes at levels 5-7 are designed to gain high demanded skills to work in the IT industry. AGI is proud to hold a rate of 90% of graduates’ employment, who are sought after by employers.
The Information Technology Diploma programmes include Technical Support (level 5), which ensures high chances to find a job, due to a shortage of Technical Support specialists in NZ; Systems Administration – Cloud and Virtualization (level 6); and Graduate Diploma in Software Testing, which includes 150 hours of experience in the industry. All the Information Technology programmes are available at AGI’s Epsom (Central Auckland) campus.

Students who want to play roles such as Technical Support Officer, User Experience / User Interface Designer, Network Administrator (entry-level), Junior Network Engineer, Service Desk, Helpdesk Analyst, Computer Technician, Applications Support Analyst roles - can gain the relevant skills by graduating the Diploma programme in Technical Support (level 5).
Students who want to play roles such as IT technician, Network and System analyst, Data Administrator, Systems Administration, Server Administration, Cloud Administration, Applications support consultant, Helpdesk Analyst / Consultant, Technical Support Analyst, Technical Project Coordinator, Desktop support (Tier 1 and 2) - can gain the relevant skills by graduating the Diploma programme in Systems Administration – Cloud and Virtualization (level 6).

Campuses and facilities
All AGI’s campuses are close to public transportation, cafes and eateries. They are fully equipped with all the necessary facilities and support services, such as welfare guidance and counselling, are provided on-site.
Support services
AGI’s management and staff share strong relationships with students. They are committed to their success and ready to provide support and guidance from the very first day of the students at AGI. The staff gives an overview of all the available amenities and is always accessible for questions, 24/7. The students can also find information about external support services in the institute’s website, the Code of Practice Policy and the AGI Programme Learner Handbook.
Also, in the first days in the country, the students are going through an Orientation Programme, which helps them to settle and gain all the information they need about AGI, or in general about living in New Zealand. During these days, students can build new relationships and meet friends, to understand their timetables and to get to know the ropes of the campus.
