Assiniboine Community College was established in 1961 in Manitoba, Canada. For over 60 years, the college has been providing a broad range of programmes in agriculture, environment, business, health and human services, and trades and technology. There are few campuses in Brandon, Manitoba: Victoria Avenue East Campus, Adult Collegiate, North Hill Campus, Russel Training Centre, Winnipeg Campus, and Parkland Campus. The college is home to 3200 students, including more than 500 international students from over 20 countries and 500 administrative staff.
Assiniboine Community College offers more than 50 full-time certificate and post-graduate programmes for both local and international students. All programmes are designed to connect students with industries and communities for real-working and networking. While studying, students will have classroom theory with hands-on learning. The college offers small class sizes with personal attention from an instructor. Also, the employment rate is high, 92%. Therefore, graduates have enough work practicum and a cooperative work placement to be competitive candidates upon completion.
