Languages International is a Category 1 English language school, which is the highest NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) rating. The school’s aim is to be exceptional in every aspect of what they are doing. Languages International are providing high-level English courses and school facilities. They are also proud of the development and training of the teachers, support for the students while they are in New Zealand, and service to the students and business partners during the booking process.
The school is located in the very heart of Auckland City, close to downtown shopping, parks, entertainment and transport. The school’s setting is unique: its three historic houses are surrounded by the trees and gardens of Albert Park. The University of Auckland is just across the road from the school. It is a convenient place for the students to find lunch, look through the bookshop or a library, or catch a bus.
Languages International is a medium-sized school, with 150 to 250 students, depending on the time of the year. It allows each student to get individual attention from teachers and have an opportunity to participate in group work or communicate with other students. The average size of each group is around 11 and 14 is the absolute maximum.
Languages International has a truly international atmosphere! Its students represent more than 20 different countries. The school has high academic standards but a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, thanks to its location and excellent student support service.
The school provides comfortable, well-equipped classrooms with views of parks and gardens for the classes. In addition, there is a Learning Centre for independent students who want to improve their language skills. This is a social learning space where you can extend the study you do in your classes. All students should spend at least 3 hours per week at the Learning Centre as part of the course.
After classes, you can relax in a student lounge with food and drink vending machines, microwave and filtered drinking water. All classes are equipped with computers and a wireless network for internet access during study hours.
The passionate, dedicated team that owns Languages International also directs, manages and teaches at the school. The teachers are available in the Learning Centre to give you advice about your language learning, recommend activities, and help you with your English language study.
